1. Product Introduction

This is a factory-grade aramid flame retardant jacket manufactured for industrial workshops, welding workshops and heavy hot work sites. It fully complies with EN ISO 11611, the European standard for welder protective clothing. Designed for mass on-site use, it balances professional flame resistance, splash protection, durability and cost efficiency, serving as standard personal protective apparel for factory frontline workers.

2. Raw Material & Fabric Properties

  • Main Material: 100% aramid fiber. It features inherent flame retardancy — the property exists in fiber structure instead of chemical finishing.
  • Core characteristics: No melting, no molten drips under high temperature; carbonizes on exposure to flame with self-extinguishing performance. It also owns high tensile strength, tear resistance and abrasion resistance, adapting to long-term frequent work in factory environments.
  • Fabric structure: Mainly dense twill or canvas weave, thick and solid, effectively blocking welding sparks and molten metal splashes.

3. Compliance Standard: EN ISO 11611

This standard sets technical requirements for protective clothing against hazards from welding and allied processes. Two protection classes are available for factory selection:
  • Class 1: Basic protection, suitable for light welding tasks with less molten metal splashes, widely used in general processing factories.
  • Class 2: Enhanced protection, for heavy-duty welding, cutting and high-temperature operations in metallurgical, shipbuilding and heavy machinery factories.
